Attend and Win
The
Attend & Win program, started by club member Ed White, is a program that
motivates students to attend school every day for three grading period each
year. Today it functions in two schools at the Elementary Level, one at the middle school level and
another at the high school
level. These schools are Rollins Elementary, Aycock Elementary, Eaton
Johnson Middle, and Western Vance High School It focuses on improving and rewarding good student attendance.
Students who come to school regularly are much more successful than those
who do not.
The club
also sponsors a Read & Win program for Rollins, Carver, Clark, and Aycock for the top
scholars in reading three times a years.
