The Southern Vance High School Octagon Club begin in the
fall of 2000. We begin with only 4 active members and now have over 50 mambers. This
club has done projects such as taking health kits to Duke Children's Hospital,
collecting Pop Tops for the Ronald McDonald House, and raising money for a swing
set at the local women's shelter. We are a very active club and are for service
purposes. Any student grades 9-12 may join. We look especially for those
students with a caring heart and compassion for others. .
